  • 1 lbs carrots peeled and cut into ¼ inch slices
  • cup water
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 ½ tbls butter
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • In a Sauté pan combine Carrots , Water and some salt and Pepper .
  • Cover and cook rapidly for 5 minutes.
  • Take off lid and continue boiling till all water is gone about 5 minutes,
  • minutes, Add Syrup or honey and continue cooking till liquid is thick.
  • Add butter stir one minute .
  • season to taste
