Maple Glazed Carrots

Ingredients
  

  • 1 + 1/2 lbs carrots cut at an angle 1/4 inch thick
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 3 Tbls maple syrup honey or agave
  • 2 Tbls butter
  • pepper to taste
  • chives or parsley

Instructions
 

  • Cook carrots in frying pan with salt + water covered for 5 minutes . Remove cover add maple syrup continue cooking until almost all liquid is gone . Toss in butter stir and serve . Garnish with chives.
