Maple Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 + 1/2 lbs carrots cut at an angle 1/4 inch thick
- ¼ cup water
- 1 Tsp salt
- 3 Tbls maple syrup honey or agave
- 2 Tbls butter
- pepper to taste
- chives or parsley
Instructions
- Cook carrots in frying pan with salt + water covered for 5 minutes . Remove cover add maple syrup continue cooking until almost all liquid is gone . Toss in butter stir and serve . Garnish with chives.
