Brussel Sprout leaves w/ pecans and bacon

Ingredients

Brussels sprouts
4
strips
bacon
cut into ΒΌ in pieces
1
handful
pecans
salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Peel Brussel sprout leaves down to point that the leaves turn yellow , cut this inner core in half.
Toast pecans in a pan using low heat for about 6 minutes.
Cook bacon in a large pan ( big enough to fit all of the sprouts) slowly till fat is rendered out and is golden and crispy.
Remove strips from pan leaving rendered oil.
Add Brussel Sprout leaves + inner cores to pan , Cook over high heat for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Season with Salt and Pepper and top with pecan and bacon
Notes
1 table spoon of olive or grape
seed oil can be substituted for bacon.
