Brussels Sprouts w/Almonds + Mirepoix
Ingredients
- 2 Tbls Olive Oil
- 1 Medium Sized Onion Medium Diced
- 2 Carrots peeled Medium Diced
- 2 Stake Celery Medium Dice
- 1 Lbs Brussels Sprouts Cut in half if large
- S + P
- ⅓ cup Toasted Slivered Almond
Instructions
- Heat Oil in heavy gage Pot. Add onions ,Celery + Carrots -Sweat ( cook covered ) for 5 minutes . Add Brussel Sprouts + cook uncovered stirring every few minutes over medium low heat , allowing them to brown a little between stirs , after about 10 minutes cover and continue cooking until tender. Season with salt and pepper top with Almonds. Easy Peasy
