Cruciferous Veggie Bean Bowl

These Vegetables are touted to be extremely healthy. This is just a base, top off with whatever you like. Kimchi, Chicken, Shrimp, Rice

  • 2 quarts Vegetable Stock
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp Gochujang Korean Red Pepper Paste or serve with your favorite hot sauce
  • 2 cups White Cabbage large chunks
  • 2 cups Romanesco bite size pieces green cauliflower
  • 3 Baby Bok Choy cut in quarters
  • 2 cups Brussel sprout green outer leaves only save white center for something else
  • 2 cups White turnips cut into thin bite size wedges
  • 2 cups Baby Arugala
  • 2 cups white Beans Cooked or firm tofu
  • Bonito Flakes optional


  • In a large pot bring vegetable stock to a boil, season with chili paste. Add Cabbage, Romanesco, and Bok Choy. Return broth to a boil then add remaining ingredients, except bonita flakes. Cook 2 to 3 more minutes or until turnips are tender. The whole cooking process should take no longer than 5 minutes.
  • Divvy up into bowls + top off with Bonito Flakes. Serves about 6
