Lemon Harissa Hummus
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Chic Peas Save liquid from can
- 1 + 1/2 Tbls Tahini
- 2 Tbls Lemon juice
- 2 Tbls chic pea liquid
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 Tsp Harissa
- 2 Tbls olive oil divided
Instructions
- In a food processor Combine all ingredients , Using just 2 Tbls of chic pea liquid to start and one Tbls of olive oil .Process for a minute or so . Check consistency , add more liquid if needed . Puree another minute or two ,until hummus is nice and creamy. Remove to serving bowl . Create an indentation in center for remaining olive oil. Drizzle a little harissa on top . Serve with warm toasted pita wedges and Carrot sticks.
