Lemon Harissa Hummus

  • 2 Cups Chic Peas Save liquid from can
  • 1 + 1/2 Tbls Tahini
  • 2 Tbls Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbls chic pea liquid
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 Tsp Harissa
  • 2 Tbls olive oil divided


  • In a food processor Combine all ingredients , Using just 2 Tbls of chic pea liquid to start and one Tbls of olive oil .Process for a minute or so . Check consistency , add more liquid if needed . Puree another minute or two ,until hummus is nice and creamy. Remove to serving bowl . Create an indentation in center for remaining olive oil. Drizzle a little harissa on top . Serve with warm toasted pita wedges and Carrot sticks.
